Most Android smartphones have a "gallery" app set as the standard photo app. Unfortunately, these "gallery" apps usually do not support the selection of multiple photos if you want to add them to your BMW Motorrad Connected App.
One possibility to select several photos at the same time is the "Google Photo" app (this is also preinstalled on most Android devices).
How to proceed:
1. Make sure that the "Google Photo" app is installed
2. Go to "Settings"> "Apps" and select the "Gallery" app> select "Open by default"
3. Now you can select "Reset default settings"
(4. Set under "Open supported links" to "Always ask")
5. Now open the BMW Motorrad Connected app, select the menu "Trips" and open a completed ride in which you want to embed your photos
6. Select the tab with the photo symbol and click on the blue "+"
7. A "Open with" window opens and here you can select the "Google Photo" app and, if you want, set the setting to "always"
8. Now you can select and add several photos
Notice: In order to be able to use the "Google Photo" app, you do not have to upload your photos to the Google Cloud or the like.
Note: With the permission of the app to access your photos, your photos can also be assigned automatically. The permission can be granted in the settings under Photos via "More" and "Permissions". Then the route recording is active and your photos are automatically displayed at the appropriate place on your routes.
