All BMW Motorcycles of all years of construction can be operated with E10 fuel.
The recommendation in the motorcycle's operating instructions on Fuel quality (e.g. 95 or 98 ROZ / RON) should be adhered to.
All bikes manufactured from 2021 will have the E10 sticker
Precautions:
1) When fuelling up:
E10 fuels contain up to 10 percent bio-ethanol, which could damage painted surfaces on tank and panelling parts.
We therefore recommend to be very careful when refuelling. Carefully remove fuel residues immediately. This is especially true for the windshield, the motorcycle luggage system, but also for Driver equipment.
2) When storing a Classic Bike
(classic bike' term is any bike with a carburettor).
- We especially recommend to remove fuel from the carburettors when storing vintage motorcycles.
