The BMW Motorrad airbag vest will arrive in selected markets in 2027. It uses an autonomous In&motion system with integrated back protector, protecting back, neck, chest and abdomen.
The In&box is the airbag system’s central control module. It contains the sensors and algorithms that detect an accident; if one is detected, the airbag deploys in under 60 ms.
You can switch riding modes (for example street or off‑road) to suit different riding conditions using the My In&box app, which also shows In&motion’s available offers and options.
